ACE-IT Computing, Inc. was founded on the principle belief that our customers are the backbone of our success and must be treated with respect. Roger Smith, founder and CEO is the cornerstone to these fundamental beliefs and principles and we still apply the same principles on which ACE-IT Computing, Inc. was founded.

Roger Smith - Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Roger is a 52 year old native Californian. He grew up in the Bay Area and served 4 years in the Marine Corps as an electrical engineer. In the Marine Corps he earned an Associate's degree in Psychology. After being honorably discharged with commendations for his service, he temporarily continued his career as a Journeyman electrician, specializing in motor control systems. After getting married and having 3 children, he went back to college to pursue his goals and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business Management from Sonoma State University. He also attended Heald Business College where he earned his degree in Computer Applications and Business Administration. The first IT job he landed was with System Integrators, Inc. where he became a Systems Analyst and Senior Software Automation specialist. Over the years, with a passion to learn and grow, he has acquired certification in BAAN systems, Tandem mainframe systems, TAL (Tandem Access Language) programming, Fortran/DBase Certification, Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS), Oracle Certified Master (OCM), Microsoft Certified SQL Server Professional (MCSA, MCDBA ) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE). Roger's career path afforded him the privilege of working with and for many industry leaders such as IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Agilent Technologies, Hewlett Packard, Snap-On Tools, Naval Intelligence and many other private and government agencies. Roger is now an IT veteran with over 27 years of experience. He applies a

hands-on approach to every deployment and assumes the role of Senior Engineer on every business solution project. Roger's experience, knowledge, creativity and vision has contributed greatly to ACE-IT Computing, Inc.'s past, present and future success.
